Regulatory and commercial requirements in Italy—electronic invoicing, localized VAT handling and secure customer identification—added complexity. VORSICHER needed a solution that combined CRM-driven sales processes, robust field dispatch and a mobile-first quality control workflow, while ensuring signed contracts and invoices complied with Italian legal standards.

For a mid-sized professional services provider expanding quickly, Business Central offered a single source of truth for order-to-cash, inventory of alarm devices and financial reporting, reducing the need for multiple point systems.

Awara IT recommended Business Central for its rapid configuration capabilities, cloud hosting on Microsoft Azure (supporting scale and security), and compatibility with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools. The solution included Italian localization for VAT (IVA) handling, local tax codes, chart of accounts adjustments and invoice formats compatible with FatturaPA / SDI requirements. Awara IT implemented SDI connectivity to submit electronic invoices in the legally required XML format and mapped Business Central posting groups to Italian fiscal reporting.

Language settings, customer fiscal codes (codice fiscale / partita IVA) and document templates were configured in Italian. Data protection controls, role-based access and secure storage were implemented to meet GDPR obligations for customer and employee data.
