AMITY PARTNERS DMCC — UAE

AMITY PARTNERS DMCC needed a scalable, compliant finance platform to support global operations and rapid entity rollout. Awara IT implemented Dynamics 365 Business Central with Finland localization, automating accounting reporting, procurement, sales and project financials while enabling a template-driven approach for more than 100 companies in a single tenant.
The engagement focused on reducing manual reconciliation, standardizing chart of accounts and VAT handling for Finnish entities, and introducing employee time tracking tied to project billing. The result is a centrally managed Business Central tenant with repeatable company templates, faster month-end close and real-time visibility for finance and project managers.
AMITY PARTNERS DMCC is a UAE-based Global Institute operating in the professional services sector with multi-jurisdiction ambitions. Headquartered in a UAE free zone, the organization required an ERP foundation capable of supporting numerous legal entities and statutory reporting across regions including Finland.
Before the project AMITY PARTNERS relied on a mix of spreadsheets and localized accounting setups that created inconsistencies across entities. Month-end reporting and consolidation were manual, time-consuming and prone to error. The client planned rapid expansion and needed a way to roll out standardized companies quickly without reworking configurations for each new entity.
Specific pain points included lack of a unified chart of accounts, manual intercompany and bank reconciliations, fragmented employee time capture for project billing, and no out-of-the-box support for Finland statutory requirements (chart structure, VAT, and e-invoicing). The client required automation to reduce operational overhead and ensure compliance for Finnish operations while maintaining UAE reporting where applicable.
Dynamics 365 Business Central was selected because it provides a single-tenant, multi-company architecture that supports centralized administration and template-based company creation. Business Central’s extensibility and native integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD met the client’s requirement for secure SSO, collaborative workflows and rapid template deployments.
Awara IT was chosen as the implementation partner for its experience delivering Business Central localization projects and its capability to design reusable company templates, implement country-specific statutory features (Finland), and integrate time tracking with project accounting. The platform met the client’s needs for finance automation, procurement, sales, banking and project-based billing.
The implementation included a Finland localization layer to handle country-specific chart of accounts mapping, VAT posting rules and e-invoicing formats (Finvoice). Awara IT configured statutory VAT return templates and audit-ready ledgers to meet Finnish reporting expectations while preserving UAE VAT settings for local operations. Language settings, fiscal periods and statutory posting profiles were set up to enable compliant reporting for both jurisdictions within the same Business Central tenant.
By implementing Business Central with Finland localization, AMITY PARTNERS DMCC achieved a repeatable, auditable finance foundation that supports rapid entity rollout and statutory compliance. The template-driven approach eliminated setup drift between entities and reduced ongoing operational effort for finance and IT teams. Automation of AP, bank reconciliations and project time-to-billing improved cash flow visibility and reduced billing leakage.
Centralized reporting with Power BI and standardized ledgers gave executives near real-time visibility across entities, enabling faster decisions on pricing, resource allocation and expansion. The project lowered month-end effort, reduced transaction processing time and created a scalable platform for future growth.
Awara IT enabled a scalable Business Central platform that met our Finland statutory needs and dramatically reduced manual work. The project delivered fast, measurable improvements to our month-end and project billing. — Nora Saeed, CFO, AMITY PARTNERS DMCC
