Dynamics 365 & Power Platform — Benefitis Employee Motivation for Beeline

Beeline in Kazakhstan needed a practical, Microsoft-aligned solution to make employee recognition routine, measurable and cost-efficient. The goal was to create a corporate currency — “Coins” — that employees could award to peers or spend in a corporate store inside Microsoft Teams, improving engagement and retention without adding administrative burden to HR.

Awara IT implemented Benefitis using Microsoft Power Platform and Teams, integrating with Beeline’s HR systems and Azure AD. The delivered solution enabled peer-to-peer recognition, automated reward workflows and real-time analytics — increasing program adoption, reducing manual processing and delivering a predictable path to measure cultural impact across the organization.

Müşteri / Sektör / Ülke

Beeline is a mobile operator operating in Kazakhstan (telecom / IT). The customer is a regional operator focused on telecom services and employee-facing digital tools for a national workforce.

İş zorluğu

Beeline’s HR team lacked a centralized, scalable recognition program. Rewarding and tracking employee motivation was manual: approvals, redemptions and reporting required spreadsheets and ad-hoc emails. That produced delays, low visibility into participation and uneven distribution of rewards across teams.

The company needed a solution that worked inside employees’ daily collaboration environment (Microsoft Teams), enforced corporate controls for currency issuance and redemption, and integrated with identity and HR systems to prevent fraud and ensure accurate accounting. Time-to-value, minimal user training and compliance with local laws were also critical selection criteria.

Neden Dynamics 365 seçildi

Although the project was built on Microsoft Power Platform and Teams, the selection criteria aligned with Dynamics 365 best practices: robust integration with Microsoft identity services, extensible data models and enterprise security. Awara IT recommended a Power Platform-first approach because it offered faster delivery while preserving compatibility with Dynamics 365 modules if Beeline wanted future HR or finance integrations.

Choosing a Microsoft-native stack reduced integration risk with Beeline’s Microsoft 365 environment and Azure AD. That approach provided single sign-on, centralized governance, and the option to leverage Dataverse and Dynamics 365 services for reporting, accounting and future extension into finance or CRM processes.

The solution was configured to align with Kazakhstan’s personal data protections and Beeline’s corporate policies. User-facing interfaces support local language requirements (Russian and Kazakh where required) and KZT currency display. Transaction records, audit trails and exports for accounting were implemented to meet local tax and benefits reporting needs while keeping personal data processing within approved Microsoft cloud regions and Beeline’s governance controls.

İş değeri

Delivering Benefitis as a Teams-native Power Platform solution provided measurable operational and cultural benefits. Operationally, automated issuance, approvals and accounting exports cut HR workload and reduced time-to-reward, enabling the HR organization to scale recognition without adding headcount. Culturally, visible peer-to-peer recognition and an in-Teams store increased participation and helped retain high-performing employees in priority segments.

Structurally, the Microsoft-native architecture gave Beeline predictable governance and an upgrade path to integrate with Dynamics 365 finance or HR modules if required. The program produced early quantitative results in engagement and lower administrative cost, creating a defensible case for incremental investment in employee-experience automation.
