RekaSoil — Kazakhstan

RekaSoil engaged Awara IT to implement Dynamics 365 Business Central to modernize accounting, procurement, sales and warehouse operations across its Kazakhstan business. The objective was to consolidate fragmented financial processes, automate tax and bank handling for local compliance, and deliver reliable inventory controls to support exports and planned European expansion.
Awara IT delivered a localized Business Central solution with core finance, procurement, inventory and bank integrations, plus reporting on Power BI. The deployment reduced manual reconciliation, shortened month-end close, and created a single source of truth for operational and financial data — enabling the CFO and CIO to make faster, auditable decisions while remaining compliant with Kazakhstan requirements.
RekaSoil is an agriculture company operating in Kazakhstan focused on production, storage and commercial distribution of soil amendments and related products. The company is a mid-market agribusiness with multiple warehouses and an ambition to expand sales into Europe.
Before the project, RekaSoil relied on disconnected spreadsheets and legacy accounting processes that caused inconsistent financial reporting and slow month-end closes. Inventory visibility across warehouses was limited, which led to stock discrepancies, delayed order fulfillment and reactive procurement decisions.
Tax and bank processes were manual and error-prone: local tax reporting requirements and payment formats required frequent corrections, and bank reconciliation consumed significant finance team time. With plans to expand into European markets, the finance team also needed a solution capable of handling different tax rates and more complex invoicing rules without duplicating effort.
RekaSoil selected Dynamics 365 Business Central because it provides a well-integrated ERP for mid-market companies that combines accounting, procurement, inventory and basic sales functionality in a single platform. Business Central's extensibility allowed Awara IT to create Kazakhstan-specific localization layers for tax reporting and bank formats while keeping the core product standard.
Additional selection criteria included native integration with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform for reporting and process automation, cloud-hosting options to reduce infrastructure overhead, and the ability to scale to support multi-country tax configurations for planned European operations. Awara IT's experience with NAV/BC implementations in the region was a decisive factor in the vendor evaluation.
Awara IT implemented a Kazakhstan localization layer inside Business Central to handle the country's fiscal reporting formats, local chart of accounts mapping and language settings (Russian/Kazakh where required). The solution includes automated VAT calculation and posting routines aligned with local ledger practices, and configurable tax rate tables to support future European tax requirements.
Bank file formats and reconciliation were configured per local bank specifications so payment runs and incoming statement imports comply with national banking formats. All localization changes were implemented as extensions to preserve upgradability of the base Business Central application.
The Business Central implementation standardized RekaSoil's finance and operational processes, reducing time spent on manual reconciliation and accelerating decision-making. Improved inventory accuracy lowered stock write-offs and enabled more reliable fulfilment for customers. Automated bank and tax handling reduced compliance risk and freed finance staff for analysis and planning rather than transaction processing.
The solution also established a repeatable, upgradable platform that supports RekaSoil's next step—expanding into European markets—by making tax configurations and multi-country reporting manageable within a single ERP instance.
Awara IT delivered a practical Business Central solution that solved our immediate compliance and inventory issues while giving us a foundation to expand into Europe. The implementation was business-focused and kept disruption to a minimum. — Aidar Nurmagambetov, CFO, RekaSoil
